If you take these steps now, not only will you be prepared for emergencies but you will help
your entire community be that much safer. Natural or human-caused disasters can strike suddenly,
at any time and anywhere. You need to be prepared to take care of yourself and your family for
at least three days. Help may be delayed in times of disaster and knowing what to do is your
best protection and your responsibility.
