Red Cross disaster workers continue to assist residents of Kise Estates Apartments
Greater Indianapolis Red Cross disaster workers continue to help residents of Kise Estates Apartments in Lebanon get back on their feet after fire destroyed their homes this week. So far, the Red Cross has provided assistance to 44 people.
Today, trained disaster caseworkers will again be available to meet one-on-one with families at the Central Christian Church, located at 311 E. Main St., in Lebanon from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The caseworkers will help families identify any unmet needs, refer them to additional community resources, and if needed, provide assistance for things such as security deposits, first month's rent, and bedding and linens to help them start over and move on with their lives.
The Red Cross has been reaching out to the affected families throughout the disaster with housing, food, shelter and other assistance to address their disaster-caused needs, as well as helping them develop long-term recovery plans.
All Red Cross disaster assistance is free made possible the generous donations of time and money from our volunteers and financial supporters.
